Hotel coffee is bad. Airport coffee is worse. This is the exact setup I carry to make proper pour-over coffee anywhere — five pieces, one organizer bag, and better coffee than most cafés.

How it all works together

1

Grind 15–18g of beans with the TIMEMORE. About 30 seconds of easy cranking — the stainless steel burrs do the work.

2

Get hot water from whatever's available — hotel room kettle, camp stove, even a coffee maker's hot water tap. Pour it into the gooseneck for a controlled, even pour.

3

Set the BrüMate on the MiiCoffee scale, add grounds to the filter dripper, and start your pour. The scale's timer keeps you honest.

4

Finish the pour, remove the dripper, cap the tumbler. Properly brewed coffee in an insulated mug, ready to go. Done.
